Amico
'Friend' in Italian
Proudly we created 'Amico'. ~ Amico, meaning 'friend' in Italian.
From our unique vision, Eco Funerals Kumeu was not only built to support those who are grieving from a loss, yet to be of support as a 'Friend' for those who are are struggling with life, or particular aspects and feel it difficult to converse well initially with the right people, or simply unable to speak vulnerably to be guided in the right direction.
Mental Health is extremely important to us as a company as it is to the country and we wish to be of support in any way that we can. With each family we guide through the journey of losing a loved one we will contribute well to the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand, as well as throughout the year raising funds, creating events within communities for such awareness.
Raising awareness and being present and equipped to articulate compassionately well in a moment of despair or uncertainty, or simply responding to a question or emotion you have been struggling with, for another person means the world to us, especially when we have come face to face personally with the loss of a loved one through suicide.
Amico, meaning friend is a sacred support group and page we have created in order for us as a company to expressively guide, ask and support and converse well accordingly and simply to be someone to someone and make a difference one small step at a time, one person at a time.
Based on the philosophy ~ ’It is when something is loved for exactly as it is that it begins to evolve into the greatest truest form of them selves. When one feels seen, heard and appreciated in their own essence one is instantly empowered’.
We truly advocate for life acceptance, compassion and support for those we can reach and provide an emotionally safe and respectful environment to vulnerably speak and be heard or to be asked and to receive an answer.
As a company we will each month be holding sacred support groups for helping those who are grieving and also with life changing transitioning.
